Swimming Sports

Mckinnon Secondary College's annual Swimming Sports was held on the 17th of February under the dark and gloomy clouds of Carnegie swimming pool. It was really great to see so many students come and participate in a range of activities such as novelty games, diving, volleyball, table tennis and swimming events.
There were a few records broken yesterday by some star athletes in the pool along with some great team efforts in the relay’s towards the end of the day.

The Swimming points from each house are as follows:




The showcase event of the swim sports was the Mankinnon vs The Year 12’s. Once again a massive hit with both staff and students, There were some great moves busted out, to some equally good music. As Mankinnon threw a surprise and had the female staff members join in for the first time ever to wow the crowd and take back the title from the year 12 students

Well done to all who participated on the day, And a massive thank-you must go out to Mr Blackwood for organising the event and keeping spirits high all day.
